This is a song that was written for people that are worn down by their daily situations. Sometimes life can get to be so bad that we dread having to go home. It tells the stories of some individuals dealing with situations that make going "the long way home" seem like the only way to receive a break from the horror their life holds. It is also a reminder that God can heal you if you let Him. With God, you don't have to go the Long Way Home.
